Here at Believe2Achieve, massage is central to our holistic approach.
Our expert masseuse, is experienced in a range of techniques including deep-tissue and colon massage, and she maximises the effectiveness of her massage with the state-of-the-art G5 massage tool.

An intense massage which tension by boosting the circulation and increasing blood supply to nourish the muscles and ease aches, pains and tension. Improves muscle tone and joint mobility.
Great for sports massage or for reducing cellulite, G5 reaches the parts other massage tools cannot reach!
While a sensible diet and exercise is beneficial and can help maintain a healthy weight, no amount of exercise will get rid of cellulite!
The revolutionary G5 massager can help diminish the appearance of cellulite and lumps and to reduce the appearance of post-surgical liposuction problem areas by breaking down fatty deposits and dispersing them naturally, resulting in instant inch loss and detox.
Over a course of 6-8 treatments you can achieve lasting, amazing results.
As well as body sculpting, G5 is excellent for sports related muscular aches and pain, by delivering more power to help relieve muscle cramps, relax tight muscles, increase flexibility, and mobilize and flush out lactic-acid build-up. A mechanical massager with different heads to mimic different massage techniques, the G5 is driven to turn in various gyratory motions which go much deeper into a muscle that a therapist can.
This is not just for athletes, but is recommended for anyone with physical injuries, pain or physical disorders. The technique involes the assessment and manipulation of the soft tissues, combined with supportive advice on exercise and training. Having regular massage can help to prevent injury and loosen tight muscle areas, something nearly all of us have in some form or another, and aids recovery time in between training sessions or when preparing for a big event (like the Great North Run for example).
Colon massage Colon massage reminds the colon how to work more efficiently, minimising bloating. It’s like a colonic irrigation – without the embarrassment and is great for detoxing. Hot compress Hot compress benefits the body through stimulating pressure points in a way similar to acupuncture and warming the body to aid detoxing, enhancing the mind and targeting specific ailments.

MASSAGE – FAQs

As highly qualified sports massage therapists, we can treat many injuries and problems with a course of sports massage, and can diagnose muscular problems and work with certain injuries. However we cannot diagnose skeletal problems but can refer you to chiropractors, osteopaths and physiotherapists for diagnosis, which we can then very often treat with massage alongside other therapists to ensure you recover quickly.
During pregnancy a pregnant woman might have aching hips, lower back pain, slumped and sore shoulders and swollen legs and ankles. Massage helps all of these things! Please note: If there are any complications with your pregnancy please ensure your doctor has given you the go-ahead for a massage, prior to your massage appointment!
No. You are unique and so is your treatment. Your therapist will ask you questions every time you visit Believe2Achieve and the treatment process is led by what you communicate, both verbally and through your physicality. And you needn’t worry, we’re very good at spotting discomfort — if you’re one of those people that’s very good at hiding it, we’ll encourage you to *always* speak out! We want you to feel fantastic and spread the word about us!
No! Sports massage is a no-nonsense massage that deals directly and efficiently with the muscles. Sports massage is so-called simply because it is a style of massage popular with sports people. Like sports people we all have challenges – physical, mental and emotional, so it is entirely appropriate that we give our bodies the same quality of treatment!Whether you’re a bodybuilder, a pregnant mum or a stressed out, desk bound office worker, the treatment is designed around your specific needs.
We can treat patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome with the colon massage – in fact clients often say it helps to ease their symptoms. We will answer all your questions when you have your full consultation before your treatment, so do not worry.

G5

It is recommended that each client has a minimum of one treatment per week. Usually people will start to see changes after the 3rd or 4th treatment but at Believe2Achieve we recommend a course of 8-10 sessions to see a real difference. Each client will differ in the number of treatments that are required to achieve their desired results, but we will do measure you before and after each session to assess you’re progress.
G5 massage is not a weight loss treatment. It is excellent for cellulite reduction, lymphatic drainage and detoxifying but when used in conjunction with the Believe2Achieve programme of exercise and diet and lifestyle changes, weight loss is greatly accelerated. Combine with LaserLipo (link to our page) treatments for more rapid weight loss.
With regular exercise, good diet and life-style changes, cellulite loss can be maintained for an extended period of time but is not normally permanent. Monthly maintenance treatments are recommended, but you can come in more regularly if you wish.
Most clients report a feeling of relaxation and a warm sensation particularly in the treatment areas for hours after their treatment. Since the lymphatic system is stimulated, it is recommended that you drink at least two litres of water every day during the duration of your treatment in order to aid elimination. If you do not drink enough water after the treatment you may feel lethargic and possibly get a headache from the mobilization of toxins.
